The Original West Park Barber Shop was opened in 2006 by a few friends with some big dreams. Fresh outta barber school, they didn’t know exactly what the future would hold. But people around Cleveland began to know firsthand that this was no ordinary barber shop.
Over the years, the West Park brand has expanded its offerings, staff and reputation. There are currently five locations—West Park Barber Shop (Cleveland), West Park Barber Shop (North Olmsted), West Park Barber Shop (Eastlake), West Park Barber and Beauty Shop (Avon Lake), and sister company West Park Beauty Salon—with more openings in the works.

PATRICK LOYAL BURKE

Patrick Loyal Burke is an entrepreneur, licensed barber, educator, business owner, and nationally recognized leader in the barbering and beauty industry. Licensed as a barber since 2004 and as an instructor since 2018, Patrick has built a career around three things: building successful businesses, educating professionals, and creating opportunities for others. He is the founder and owner of West Park Barber & Beauty and West Park Barber School in Cleveland, Ohio, and has been involved in developing and operating numerous businesses throughout Northeast Ohio. As a national educator, Patrick has taught more than 1,000 classes throughout the United States and has educated professionals at more than 100 barber and beauty schools across the country. His education and platform experience includes major industry events such as IBS New York, ABS Chicago, BarberCon, and Premiere Hair Shows. Patrick has served as a National Educator for Hattori Hanzo Shears since 2018, earning President's Club recognition in both 2023 and 2024. He also serves as Head Director of Education for BYRD Hair Products and Head Director of Education for COCCO Hair Pro, a global professional clipper company. His career accomplishments include being named Ohio Barber of the Year in 2018, receiving the Community Impact Award from the Mayor of Cleveland in 2017, and receiving numerous industry honors, including Cleveland's Best Barbershop recognitions, Scene Magazine's Barber of the Year and Barbershop of the Year awards, and multiple first-, second-, and third-place finishes in barber competitions across the country. Outside of business and education, Patrick has dedicated more than a decade to community service and philanthropy, including work with Saint Baldrick's, VA hospitals, the Saint Malachi Hope Organization, homeless shelters, rehabilitation facilities, and other community organizations.
